LEAP has achieved remarkable success in providing promising youth
with a supportive environment in which to learn, grow and develop
into the future leaders of South Africa. “IT’S AFRICA’S TIME” also
visits the Bulungula cooperative located on the rural South African
Wild Coast. The Foundation has provided funding and mentorship to
the Bulungula Incubator since 2008, empowering local women with
entrepreneurial opportunities to improve the lives of their families
and communities. Its 20 women farmers now produce about 25 tons
of lemongrass per year.
