The REAP programme was developed to ensure sustainable growth in this sector, contributing to the growth of the South African economy. Our vision is for a productive economy with a differentiated workforce comprising of a clear and true supportive structure for artisans. The support will include technical and soft- skill essential training, to build and significantly impact their own local community and economy whilst participating in substantially lowering the unemployment rate.

Empowerment: We believe that the artisans have all the potential for success and that, most of the time, they simply require support to actualize it. We aim to empower the artisans to become independent contractors.
Creativity: Creativity is experimenting, growing, taking risks, breaking rules and making mistakes. We believe that our offering encourages the artisans to experience all of these.
Service: REAP was established to serve the artisan and to assist in any area where upskilling would be beneficial, be it coaching, mentoring or expert advice.
Partnership: Very little happens without great partnerships. We are constantly looking to partner with various stakeholders and NGOs.
Accountability: We hold ourselves to the highest level of accountability ensuring that all we do results in the most effective usage of our resources. The artisans are held accountable for their personal development and the growth of their businesses. Our robust monitoring and evaluation system ensures the artisans are achieving their goals and receive the support that they need.
